Flow State Ventures generates revenue through affiliate links. This means we may earn a commission if you make a purchase through one of our links. But no worries, it does NOT cost you extra. We may also generate revenue through limited, highly relevant brand sponsorships or the sale of our own digital guides.

No. While affiliate revenue sustains our business, our priority is always to provide the best, most relevant information for our community. We frequently review gears, techniques, and resources that have no affiliate link attached. We only recommend products we trust and we would like to support your active and healthy lifestyle.

Well, basically these are what we love to do in our life! It is the pursuit of a lifestyle centered on physically / mentally challenge, high-focus, experience of rich life, and deep connection with nature. This is the community for those who want to live a truly “rich life.”

  • Look ahead: Look at least 6 to 10 feet in front of you and focus on where you want your bike to go on the trail. Do not look at your front tire.
  • Learn a proper body position: Stay loose and relaxed. Drop your shoulder down, keep your elbows and knees bent, hips back, and core engaged. You need to slightly adjust your position based on each different terran. I do not recommend sitting down unless you’re climbing.

If you dive recklessly and alone, yes. The key is never dive alone. Always free dive with a buddy who knows how to respond in an emergency. It is always better to know the risks and how to avoid.

  • Set the mindset and realistic goals (having a clear ‘why,’ ‘when,’ and ‘how’). The key for fitness is self-discipline and control.
  • Make it a routine. You can start slowly and little by little so it’s easy for you to stick with.
  • Find what you enjoy. Cardio? Strength? Join group fitness classes? Personally I enjoy UBOUND (a trampoline exercise) and Body Combat (boxacising). Make exercise fun!
  • Track your progress. If you can see or feel your improvements, that means you’re getting healthier and stronger! You cannot expect significant fitness results in 3 days or a week tho, so you need to be patient and stay consistent.
  • Find a workout buddy. Family? Friends? Anybody! If it’s hard for you to stay focused and motivated, I always recommend it. It’ll make it more enjoyable and push each other.

The monthly cost of van life can vary depending on your lifestyle, but the budget range is often from $800 to $3,000 USD. Monthly expense for us was about $800 including fuel, food, gym membership (for shower) etc. Main expenses for van life are: fuel, groceries, phone, insurance, maintenance / repair, camping fee, gym membership etc. Since you don’t need to pay rent, you can save money if you plan and manage the costs properly.
