  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt

  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

 
How to: 
  1. In a small pot, bring the 1.5 cups of water to a gentle boil.

  2. Add the dry ingredients: peppermint leaves, cinnamon powder (or stick), and the turmeric powder to the hot water.

  3. Cover the pot and let the mixture steep for at least 30 minutes.

  4. Once cooled, strain the liquid through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean glass jar or bottle to remove the solid herb

  5. Add salt and lemon juice to the strained liquid. Stir well until the salt is completely dissolved.

 
Usage & Storage:
  • Rinse with your homemade mouthwash 1-2 times per day after brushing your teeth.

  • Store the mouthwash in the fridge and use within 5 to 7 days for the best freshness.
